Help tackle hunger by bringing food donations to GSLP this week for the Souper Bowl of Caring!
Good Shepherd Lutheran Preschool is participating in Good Shepherd Youth's food drive benefitting Gaithersburg HELP, a food pantry serving our local community. Please donate cash (please take cash donations to the office) or nonperishable food items, including cereal, non-refrigerated juices, and canned goods (beans, jelly, fruit, chicken, peanut butter, soup, spaghetti sauce, tuna, and vegetables). Show your support by placing your donations in the Seahawks' box or the Patriots' box!
About the Souper Bowl of Caring:
The Souper Bowl of Caring began 25 years ago with a prayer by one youth group: "Lord, even as we enjoy the Super Bowl football game, help us be mindful of those without a bowl of soup to eat." Since then, the Souper Bowl of Caring has expanded into a nationwide effort that has raised more than $100 million for charities.
